Conan Wynne - White and Pink Particles
White and Pink Particles on a faded orange to purple background. Particles are produced with Blender and then drawn with a robot arm onto a canvas painted with spray paint. The animated Particles are then superimposed back over the piece in 3D. The work is on canvas and viewable in AR through the Artivive app. I am trying to loop out from digital to analogue and back to digital but the piece exists in both worlds like humans who interact with technology do.
Conan Wynne is a Dublin born artist who studied sculpture in NCAD and advanced animation in the Digital Skills Academy, currently directing at Phase art centre in Rathgar .
During his career as an artist Conan has has had work procured by the OPW for the national Irish collection and has displayed work nationally and internationally creating installations for CCI Paris, Open Ear Festival, fringe Festival, Art Electronica, Coca Cola, Guinness
