PHASE is a place where artists and creatives from various disciplines can come together to explore and collaborate on new ideas and projects. We’re hoping to offer a broad range of performances, workshops, exhibitions, talks, and residencies, that span across different art forms.
One of our primary goals is to foster cross-disciplinary dialogue and experimentation, creating a vibrant, dynamic and an inclusive environment where artists can learn from one another and provide a new space for the public to engage with the creative arts in Dublin.
Our vision is to create a vibrant hub that nurtures creativity and supports artists. As a space run by artists, we aim to foster a true creator economy.
Over the next year, we plan to feature a diverse range of artists, spanning various disciplines, by scheduling one artist per week. This ambitious undertaking involves transforming a large, previously derelict commercial space into a fully functional studio, complete with all the necessary tools to create stunning installations. Our ultimate goal is to achieve self-sustainability.

Phase is an innovative, artist-run multidisciplinary arts space located in Rathgar, Dublin. Housed in a beautifully renovated ex-garage warehouse, Phase was born out of a collective of artists who recognized the need for a space designed with artists in mind. Our mission is to provide a vibrant and inclusive environment that fosters creativity, collaboration, and exploration of cutting-edge artistic practices.
Reviving a Derelict Space:
Situated in Dublin 6, Phase breathes new life into a formerly idle warehouse that had remained dormant for a decade. Our passionate team of artists took on the challenge of transforming this abandoned space into a thriving hub for artistic expression. The warehouse underwent a meticulous four-month renovation, with the removal of pigeons and oil, and a complete overhaul to create a state-of-the-art arts facility.
Spaces Designed for Inspiration:
At Phase, we understand that artists require the latest technology and specialized facilities to push the boundaries of their craft. Our arts space features a range of amenities tailored to meet the needs of today's creatives. This includes a gallery to showcase artworks, a fully equipped workshop, an exhibition space dedicated to digital art, and a dynamic music area featuring large projectors and a cutting-edge 360 surround sound system.
Cutting-Edge Tools and Equipment:
We take pride in providing artists with access to advanced tools and equipment necessary to bring their visions to life. Phase is equipped with an impressive array of resources, including an 8x4 foot CNC router, an A0 size printer, a laser cutter, a laser projector, and fan holograms. These facilities eliminate the need for additional outsourcing or incurring additional costs, allowing artists to fully focus on their creative process.
A Platform for Underground Arts:
Phase is committed to shining a spotlight on the underground arts scene, often overlooked by mainstream outlets and traditional galleries. Our curated series of shows scheduled throughout the year aim to showcase emerging talents and boundary-pushing works that challenge conventional norms. We provide a platform for artists who are pushing the boundaries and seeking alternative ways to express themselves.
A New Paradigm in Creative Spaces:
Phase breaks the mold of traditional creative spaces by offering a versatile environment that accommodates large paintings, sculptures, digital art, and immersive sound experiences, all in one place. We believe in fostering a holistic approach to creativity, which is why we have integrated areas of wellness into our space. The inclusion of sauna and massage facilities supports artists' well-being, allowing them to nurture both their bodies and minds.
